Livia Candido de Oliveira
Yoga teacher E-500 RYT®
My professional roots have to be seeked in San Paolo/Brazil, where I belong and first moved into the yoga universe. My approaches to the infinite possibilities of the body expressions starts related to the afro brazilian dance, capoeira and surf, which played an important role in my background. The Yoga arrived at my life in 2000, giving me a long experience in traditional styles like Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Vinyasa.
Over the years, I specialized in several practices becoming a certified instructor of methodologies such as 200h of Power Vinyasa, 100h of Advanced Sequencing Mandala Flow, 100h of Awakening Somatic Intelligence that is focused on Functional Applied Anatomy, Art of Vinyasa Instruction and Somatics, 300h of Rasa Yoga focused on Bhakti Flow and 30h of Restaurative Yoga, with teachers such as Greta Hill; Janet Stone; and Ameriga Giannone. All this knowledge is deeply connected to the awareness of Mantras, Mudras, Mythology, Pranayamas, Biomechanics of the Body and the incorporation of Vinyasa and its subtle energies. On August of 2022 I founded Casa Opy Yoga & Rituals, in Florence - Italy.
In parallel with my work with Yoga, I dedicated myself to the study of Hindu philosophy with professors Hareesh Wallis, Daniela Bevilacqua and Lúcia Helena Galvão; to shamanism with Gabriel Ossian and Marcos Vinicius Cunha; and to Cacao in Ancient Maya and Mesoamerica with the archeologist Pablo Castro Hernándes. I am also part of the team for the translation into Italian of the contents of Selvagem - a study cycle of life, designed by philosopher Ailton Krenak..
My connection with nature, the experience of raw bodily sensations and the passion for out & inner alchemy allows me to build a recreation of the physical and energetic body through a diverse range of ancestors healing and to immerse my classes both in tradition and into the most avant-garde attitudes.
